As we already announced on social networks, iCommunity Labs has participated in Web Summit 2022 in Lisbon as part of the startups program.
Web Summit is one of the most important and disruptive technology events on the planet. It started to be held in Dublin, but since 2016 it has moved to Lisbon where it is held annually. Due to its great impact, today it is considered the largest technology event in the world.
This year it was held at the Altice Arena & Fil between November 1 and 4, bringing together a large number of companies that redefine the technology industry and more than 70,000 people. During these days a large number of conferences led by technology and industry leaders have taken place, with the aim of connecting the different companies.

iCommunity Labs has had its own stand, being part of the official Spanish delegation. Program launched by ICEX and Red.es, from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation. And it has been a perfect scenario to connect with new investors, strategic partners and potential clients and to present both the iBS platform, as well as the different products based on the blockchain certified registry.

It has been a great opportunity for quality networking, to present and make visible the technological advances and establish a lot of contacts of the highest level. Some of the main top crypto companies participating were: Socios.com, Trezor, Decentraland, The SandBox, Polygon, Polkadot and Binance, by the hand of its CEO Changpeng Zhao.

Likewise, iCommunity was one of the guests invited to the official audience at the Spanish embassy, with the current ambassador, Marta Betanzos. Where we could talk about the different strategies of internationalization and opening of new opportunities in Portugal.
